A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
I was raised in southern Poland, beneath the peaks of the Tatra Mountains, before
moving to Ireland in 2004. Settling along the Wild Atlantic Way—surrounded
by dramatic coastlines, ever-changing light, and a fair share of rain—my photography
journey began in 2009. What started as an appreciation for the landscape naturally
evolved into a career documenting weddings. Today, photography is more than just
a profession; it is the rhythm of my everyday life.
While I’m honored to have my work recognized, my “why” is much simpler: my wife
and our two boys. They remind me that real presence is what matters most.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me in the garden, tackling an engineering
project, fixing old film cameras, or chasing our dog. Growing up in the mountains
and living now by the sea has taught me to find beauty in both the grand and
the small moments of life.

How much experience do you have as a wedding photographer?
I have been a professional wedding photographer
for over 15 years and have captured nearly 1,000 weddings. Being local to the Northwest
gives me a unique advantage; I deeply understand the specific light and weather patterns of the
Atlantic coastline.
My experience means I am prepared for any situation—from managing tight schedules to fixing
“emergencies” like a misplaced ring or a forgotten ceremony folder. My goal is to ensure
you feel completely relaxed, knowing your memories are in the hands of a seasoned professional.
Which Sligo wedding venues do you recommend for photos?
I don’t have just one particular favourite. I truly love the grand, gothic scale of Temple House , the authentic, rustic-chic character of Juniper Barn, the intimate, elegant charm of the Markree Courtyard or great fun in one of the city hotels. I am familiar with the “hidden corners” of these venues that produce the most timeless, high-end editorial images.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is an elegant editorial mix with a documentary approach. This
allows me to capture the raw, candid emotions of your day as they happen,
while also creating luxury, high-end portraits. This dual expertise
has seen my work published in top-tier wedding blogs and magazines.
Whether we are shooting against the windswept backdrop of the Strandhill dunes
or the refined interiors of Coopershill House, my approach always combines
deep local knowledge with a world-class standard of artistry.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
After photographing Irish weddings for 15 years, I’ve learned that rain can actually
add a beautiful, romantic atmosphere to your gallery. Sligo venues like Markree Castle
and Temple House offer stunning indoor options—from grand staircases to
period features—that look incredible in any light.
If there is a break in the weather, we can head to the Rosses Point or
Strandhill coastline for those dramatic, “Wild Atlantic Way” style shots.
I always have a “Plan B” and the professional equipment needed to ensure your
photos are spectacular, rain or shine.
